About Bay Consulting Group

Bruce Draper founded the Bay Consulting Group shortly after his retirement from the Oakland California Police Department. While with OPD, Mr. Draper worked as a criminal investigations sergeant and a supervisor of the special investigations unit (SIU). He has extensive investigation experience in robbery as well as homicide, and is considered an expert in fraud investigation.

Mr. Draper is a certified fraud examiner (CFE) in good standing and is proficient in the Reid School of Interviewing and Interrogation. His 30 years of experience, coupled with a similar background of the Bay Consulting staff insures a professional, timely investigation that is properly executed and doesn’t violate any expectations of individual privacy. Several local police and fire departments use his services both in background investigations and confidential personnel matters.

Our investigators are retired police officers, each averaging 25 years of investigation experience. Together we offer a complete, professional, court ready investigation package.

Mr. Draper reviews each investigation prior to commencement and a solid, realistic plan is formed ensuring none of the Client’s time, or money, is wasted.

We do not charge for fax, copy services, telephone or mileage. Our hourly rate is among the most competitive in the Bay Area, and each project is individually tailored to the client’s requirements and financial constraints.
